Katerina Stamatiou Katerina Stamatiou was born in Limassol in 1960 and graduated the E Gymnasium Limassol in 1977. She read law in London and was called to the Bar at the Gray’s Inn. After her return to Cyprus she practiced law in a law firm in Limassol. She served for one term in the committee of the Limassol Bar Association. In 1993 she was appointed District Judge, in 2000 she was promoted to Senior District Judge and in 2004 she was promoted to District Court President. She served as President of the Assize Court of Paphos and Limassol and Administrative President of the Paphos and Limassol District Courts. She was appointed to the Supreme Court on 16th September 2013. On July, 1st, 2023, she was appointed as President of the Supreme Court. She is married and has one daughter and one son.
