The Rent Control Tribunal has jurisdiction to resolve, with all reasonable speed, disputes referred to it arising on any matter raised in the application of the Rent Control Law, Law 23/83, including any incidental or supplementary issue.
Each Rent Control Tribunal is composed, in accordance with Article 4 of the Rent Control Law, Law 23/83, of a President who possesses the qualifications required for appointment as a District Judge, and, for each case, two members appointed by the President from lists of members approved for each district by the Supreme Judicial Council.
